Popularly known as the lover's point of Mumbai, Bandstand is a 2 km stretch of land along the coastline of sea that also serves as a route to the Bandra Fort. There is also a promenade where younsters can be see enjoying the scenic beauty or savoring bhelpuri, sevpuri etc.
Juhu and Chowpatty Beaches
With a huge shore line, elite people can be seen jogging in the mornings and evenings, vendors with interestingly lighted carts and food for sale and some random even shootings happening at certain times. Because as it is said to have the best picturesque sunrise and sunsets.
Hanging Gardens of Mumbai
Just as in the kindergarten poem, Jack and Jill discover their relationship atop a hill, you can walk up to the top of Malabar hill and enjoy the terraced gardens. Unwind yourself from any troubles and laugh at the interesting animal shaped topiaries and the bird's eye view of Marine drive and chowpatty will leave you spell bound.
Lonavala and Khandala
Amir Khan and Rani Mukherjee's song "aati kya khandala.." will surely make you recall the destination Lonavala and Khandala, that is at its prime beauty specially during the monsoon. A twin hill station that has other places too to follow like Lohagad fort, Bushy Dam, Lonavla lake and Ryewood park.
Matheran
Reaching the unpolluted atmosphere where vehicles are restricted, lies a small town in itself known as Matheran. Taking a stroll in the market with no honks and vehicles to bother and the shimmering lakes on one side would be the perfect place for a romantic getaway from the loud city of Mumbai.
A 70 km long drive sounds romantic but what lies ahead offers more, from the beautiful rock cut caves to the fort atop the mountain offers a panoramic view which is simply majestic. Other attractions like Phansad wild life sanctuary and Nethersole Dam are also beautiful. It has been rightly said that the word romance means a world full of excitement, unreal and adventure, and even the dictionaries claim to that. Billy Graham once said that so why not Mumbai's amazing location play the catalyst.
