Founded around five decades back, in1952, The Bombay Hospital project was initiated by famous philanthropist Shri Rameshwardas Birla.

Initially it had a 440 bed arrangement for in patients and it was known for its impartial and cost effective service for all admitted patients, regardless their social status and parameter of financial affluence.
