Mumbai, a metropolitan city of India, has always been a charm for tourists. In 1972 a well planned urban township was developed in Mumbai which is known as Navi Mumbai. It is termed as the largest city in the world due to it very high population. The city lies on the western coastal area of Maharashtra. It is spread across the area of around 344 square kilometers.  The area is almost same as that of Mumbai. There are two bridges namely Vashi and Nerula which join the city with the mainland. Navi Mumbai was constructed by some classy architects and hence has got an outstanding modern infrastructure.

The city has got a well developed node called Nerula which is commonly known as Queen of Navi Mumbai. This is the second largest area after Vashi which is known as king of new Mumbai. They individually have got around 60 sectors within them and the most commercial and the residential area of Mumbai. They have got various temples, hospitals and well organized roads as well as transportation. The charm of Mumbai can be easily seen in Navi Mumbai as well. The people enjoy the night life over here, shopping malls and eateries are also available for full entertainment.

The place is not as famous as Mumbai but still has got all of its features. Temperature remains moderate in the city i.e. not so cold and not so high. Elite population of the city generally speaks in English but the regional language is Marathi. The common people usually speak a blend of Hindi and Marathi for the convenience. During the rainfall, the level goes quite high to around 2000 mm which makes the city quite humid. Some part of the area is covered by hills and other by plains.

This place provides an option to enjoy some free time with your friends and relatives. It has several places to hang out. For the tourists, Navi Mumbai provides good accommodation facilities in terms of hotels and lounges. There are many places to visit, such as DY Patil Stadium where cricket lovers and non lovers too can enjoy the live matches. If you are a foodie, then Nerula could be a good option to hang around in Navi Mumbai because you will be getting a large variety of delicious food over here.

Local newspapers are also little far away from capturing the events, places, life of Navi Mumbai as compared to the main city. With the passage of time, it will become a wonderful place and a known place as the Mumbai is today.
