Adlabs Imagica
Adlabs Imagica is a theme park which is located in the city of Khopoli in Mumbai - Pune express highway. It was opened in April 2013 and spreads over an area of 300 Acre with a budget of 1600 crores.
The owner of this theme park is Adlabs Entertainment limited and it is promoted by Manmohon Shetty. It is India’s first big amusement park. It has a very much close resemblance to U.S Disney land.
Zones and Attractions at Adlabs Imagica
Adlabs Imagica celebrates the Indian legacy of storytelling. It has many zones with different theme of its own.
- India- Different time periods starting from the past mythological wrath of the Gods to the present contemporary age everything has been displayed in this zone.
- It will give a complete portrait of India, starting from the historical age, temple, fort, and gives a ride of spectacular flight over the beautiful expanse of India.
- Jumbo Africa- This zone gives a complete view of the African flavors and exotic plants with bongo tunes and roaring dinosaurs. This zone gives a total reflection of Africa with tribal masks and thatched roofs.
- Asiana- this zone gives a view of the time that is yet to come with modern structures and neon light. This gives a view of the finest technology that will be adopted ahead in the 21 century.
- Viva Europe-It gives a view of the European settings with paving stone pathways and Victoria lamp post. A visit to this place will give an experience of childhood story with all fairytale rides.
- Americana-This zone gives an experience of America existing scarcely in its classic era. With all the thrilling rides it gives an experience of America in its 21st century.
Rides at Adlabs Imagica
Similarly it has many attractive rides that give a complete entertainment- Rajasaurus River Adventure -this ride gives an experience of the pre historic times of the dinosaurs the mighty rajasaurus in particular.
- Alibaba aur challis chor –This ride is about the Arabic tale that is very famous in India about Ali Baba and its forty thieves.It mainly aims at thieves with laser guns and very entertaining.
- Wrath of Gods -This gives view of the Indian mythological characters. It contains a room with three gigantic idols of god blowing water, fire and Air.
- Haunted house called the curse of Salimgarh - It is named after Mughal fort of Delhi converted to prison by Aurangzeb and is a ride of a haunted kila.
- Roller coaster -It has the India largest roller coaster with a vertical drop, a crazy swinging ride.
