Banganga Festival:

This is a two-day musical festival organized by the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) at the historic Banganga Tank in Mumbai.The annual event invites renowned artists from all over the country for a classical music extravaganza.Music enthusiasts from different parts of the country participate in the event to purify their mind and soul.Proceeds from the sale of tickets go towards the  conservation,  upkeep and maintenance of the Banganga temple complex.

Elephanta Festival:

Elephanta, a small island 10kms away from the Mumbai harbour, is a favoured destination for culture lovers during the festival held in February.The Elephanta Island is known for its great cave shrine, excavated in the 6th century. Click to Know More

Kala Ghoda Festival:

Art and craft lovers throng the area around Mumbai’s Jehangir Art Gallery during the prestigious Kala Ghoda Art Festival.This festival is packed with sheer art-rich entertainment, with scintillating performances by stalwarts from the fields of music, dance, art and craft, theatre, movies etc throughout.You can also visit the book shops and
music shops, watch magic shows and puppet shows or simply amuse yourself with a tarot-card reading session where the cards are picked out by a parrot.
                            Sundays are fun-days between the months of November and January every year in Mumbai, the time when the Kala Ghoda Festival is held. The works of highly-acclaimed artists are displayed during the festival along with fabulously made sculptures by well known potters.
